Before we start work, we carry out a condition assessment to determine the base-line condition of a piece of equipment. The objective is to create a robust repair, overhaul and test regime that’s designed to significantly improve performance and reduce operating costs. The assessment includes:
Visual check of external casing and connectors
Disassemble and visual check (under microscope) of electronic circuitry, internal connectors and wiring
Check for signs of wear, damage, overheating, liquid ingress and overall cleanliness
Create a component list of potential obsolescence issues
Concluding report defining action required to Improve operational performance, mitigate obsolescence risk and root cause analysis
