All 17 of TP Matrix’s technicians and engineers have completed their annual re-certification to the IPC-A-610 standard.
The most widely used international standard covering electronics assembly and soldering, IPC-A-610 certification demonstrates their expertise and ongoing focus on quality.
Continued certification gives customers the confidence that TP Matrix’s team is fully competent in applying both traditional and the latest electronic repair and build techniques.
“It’s important to us that all our engineers and technicians complete the training annually, whether it’s our newest apprentice or our senior engineer with 40-plus years’ experience in electronic repair,” said Liam McDonnell, TP Matrix’s managing director.
“Having previously worked in the rail sector, I wouldn’t consider using repairers if they did not comply with industry recognised quality standards and the same goes for all our customers, which is why we maintain IPC-A-610 as well as ISO 9001 and IRIS accreditation.”
A non-profit, member-driven organisation IPC serves 3,000 companies, including manufacturers and suppliers, with the aim of continually improving electronics worldwide.
