One of TP Matrix’s most experienced employees has been appointed as the company’s new operations manager.
Ian Entwistle joined the business in 2001 and has worked across all areas: test, repair, build and overhaul. He been team leader of the production department since 2013.
Managing director, Liam McDonnell, said the appointment formed part of the company’s growth plans following its acquisition by Amcomri Group, which specialises in developing quality British engineering and manufacturing businesses.
“We’re delighted that Ian has agreed to take on the role. The recent acquisition by Amcomri Group is driving our desire for further growth and appointing an operations manager is the next step towards building a solid platform for expansion,” Liam added.
“Choosing Ian was an easy decision, not only in highlighting our ethos of developing from within the organisation, but also because he was pretty much fulfilling this role with excellent results previously.”
The new role will be customer focused, with an emphasis on continued quality and ensuring all client timelines are met.
Ian is relishing the challenges that lie ahead and playing his part in the company’s ongoing success.
“I have watched TP Matrix grow and develop alongside my own career and, with the acquisition of the business by Amcomri Group, I can only see the company going from strength to strength,” he said.
