Salary:
£25,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience.

Location:
Workshop based in the Oldham facility – TP House, Prince of Wales Industrial Units, Oldham, OL1 4ER.
Main purpose of role:
Working in a production team the purpose of the role is to Assemble, Test, Rework and Overhaul basic and complex Safety Critical Electronic / Electrical Equipment used in various industries in accordance with the companies’ policies and procedures including customer specifications.
Key roles & responsibilities:
+ Assembly, Test, Rework, Overhaul and Inspection of Electrical/Electronic equipment to IPC610 standard.
+ Cable Assembly to IPC620 standard.
+ Ensure work is completed on time and in line with customers’ requirements.
+ Be flexible to work in other departments as required.
+ Liaise with colleagues, clients and suppliers as appropriate.
+ Training and mentoring of others as required, e.g. trainees and apprentices.
Required qualifications:
+ Electrical & Electronic Assembly & Rework experience.
+ Understanding of standards ISO9001, IPC610 / 620 & 7711/21.
+ Soldering/Desoldering.
+ Wiring.
+ Self-inspection.
+ Computer literate.
